At Peak Behavioral Health, we offer several treatment options. We believe proper assessment leads to effective treatment. We typically start with an assessment and then develop a comprehensive treatment plan that may involve one, several, or all of these options.
Psychological Evaluations
Our psychologist provides evaluations for a number of presenting concerns, including: ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, challenging behavior, mood disorders, etc. Evaluations are offered for children and adults.
Interdisciplinary Evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder
Autism evaluation and diagnosis deserves the highest level of confidence. We have an interdisciplinary team consisting of a Psychologist, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist to assess all areas for children suspected of having ASD. Our comprehensive evaluation is more accurate than a typical evaluation and ensures your child’s providers are working together to provide the best treatment possible.
Applied Behavior Analysis (Home Based)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. ABA is the leading, research based approach proven to bring about positive, meaningful change in behavior in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Speech Therapy
People may need speech therapy for a variety of reasons. Peak Behavioral Health uses science-backed therapy methods to improve pronunciation and overall communication.
Occupational Therapy
The occupational therapists at Peak help children improve their sensory, cognitive, physical, and motor skills in addition to addressing the social, psychological, or environmental factors that may affect a child’s development. Occupational therapists focus on helping children become independent with daily activities such as playing, eating, dressing, practicing handwriting, or maintaining balance.
Individual and Family Counseling
We provide evidence-Based therapy for children and their families. We offer therapy related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, oppositional and defiant behavior, and most presenting pediatric concerns.
Family Training
We support families and direct care staff members of adults and kids with intellectual disabilities by providing individual training and intervention for individuals within the OKDHS-DDS community-based and home-based waiver programs. Our programs focus on ensuring all individuals live and work in the least restrictive environment possible. Programs include general behavioral intervention along with social and sexual education.
